- **Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out:** Efficiently handle guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- **Reservations Management:** Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications, maintaining high occupancy rates.
- **Customer Service:** Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- **Security and Safety:** Monitor hotel security systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure guest safety during the night.
- **Administrative Tasks:** Prepare daily reports, balance cash drawers, and maintain front desk records.
- **Team Coordination:** Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff to ensure smooth operations.
- **Breakfast Preparation:** Oversee breakfast setup, ensuring hot items are ready and coffee is brewed before the breakfast attendant arrives.
- **Lost and Found:** Manage lost and found items, ensuring proper documentation and return to guests.
- **Emergency Procedures:** Assist in emergency situations, following established protocols.
- **Newspaper Delivery:** Assign and deliver newspapers to guest rooms daily.
- **Additional Duties:** Perform any other tasks as requested by the Guest Services Manager or other management members.
### **Qualifications:**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Prior experience in a hotel or related field is advantageous. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
- **Language Skills:** Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and front desk management software.
- **Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand for extended periods and work with minimal supervision.
