Night Audit - Bar Harbor Inn and Spa

About the role

The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a Seasonal Night Auditor to join their Front Desk team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values consistency and accuracy, and takes pride in providing excellent service during quieter overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
• Provide friendly, professional guest service during overnight hours
• Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
• Maintain hotel security and respond appropriately to overnight concerns
• Prepare the lobby and coffee station for the morning team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment throughout the night

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Clear communication and effective problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Dependable, professional, and guest-focused
