NICU (RN) (Full Time) (Nights)

About the Role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a Level III NICU setting, requiring assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Nurses develop individualized care plans collaboratively, assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient-specific needs while maintaining communication across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Educating families on post-treatment care and medication administration
• Participating in quality improvement and professional development activities
• Assessing patient needs holistically and advocating for patient safety

Requirements

• RN license required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years of experience preferred for higher education
• Level III NICU (or higher) experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills

Schedule

Night shift with weekend rotation
