About the role
Assistant Nurse Manager in a Level IIIA NICU, supporting clinical operations, staff management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead staffing, budgeting, and financial goals, responding to business changes.
- Analyze patient outcomes, audits, and reporting to develop improvement plans.
- Perform service recovery and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure staff meet regulatory, competency, and readiness standards through audits and corrective actions.
- Manage staff schedules, payroll, and communication; oversee staffing needs, assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Supervise onboarding, training, workload management, and professional development of staff.
Qualifications
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred for higher qualifications.
