Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing processes to meet individual patient needs in the NICU.
- Demonstrate technical skills and manage common NICU diagnoses such as respiratory distress, prematurity, hypoglycemia, and sepsis.
- Promote customer service initiatives and apply knowledge of human development and assessment appropriate to patient ages.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing licensure and BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of RN experience.
- NICU experience preferred.
- NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
- STABLE certification required within 6 months of hire.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and technical proficiency.
- Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care.
