Video Testimonial Job Details Department: Respiratory Care Shift: Night Working Hours: PRN Summary: The Neonatal Transport Respiratory Therapist is a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) who, upon successful completion of NICU orientation, provides comprehensive respiratory and clinical care to critically ill neonatal patients. The RCP will complete a Transport orientation, to include being a member of the intubation team. A Transport RCP uses expanded skills to accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established guidelines while on transport and in the Intensive Care Units or Emergency Department. The Transport RCP assists the Transport Nurse in the stabilization and care of patients during transport under the direction of protocols and designated Baptist Health neonatal physicians/providers. Other Information: Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or nursing diploma in Respiratory Therapy. Bachelor's degree preferred. One year of neonatal experience required. LRCP and RRT license required. Must maintain Registered status under the National Board for Respiratory Care guidelines.Able to work independently and as a member of a team. Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills. Must maintain a body weight at or below 230 pounds to comply with flight safety regulations and weight and balance limitations during flight operations. This job will be authorized 0.00 hours bi-weekly.
