NICU Advanced Practitioner Opportunity

About the role

Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.

Baystate Children’s Hospital is a 107-bed and 55-bassinet hospital within Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. This position is located in the region's only Level III NICU.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and participate in patient transports
• Utilize advanced modes of respiratory support including bubble CPAP, NIMV, CMV, HFOV, HFJV, and inhaled nitric oxide
• Work closely with respiratory therapists, dietician, pharmacist, occupational therapist, social worker, and case management/discharge planner
• Engage in clinical and QI research, and medical education of residents, medical students, and APP students
• Work 12- or 24-hour shifts with rotating days/nights/weekends

Requirements

• BC Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a level III nursery

Qualifications

• Compensation range: $139,050 - $176,130
