Job Overview

Newcastle Hospitals Skills Academy (NHSA) is seeking Educators to work via the Staff Bank, providing online tutorial support for learners studying ILM professional qualifications.

Main Duties of the Job

• Deliver Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Leadership and Management qualifications.
• Design resources and training materials to meet the learning objectives of the course.

Person Specification

• Qualifications & Education:
• Essential: First degree in relevant subject area, recognised teaching qualification, such as: PGCE, Cert Ed, BEd, MEd or equivalent.
• Desirable: Recognised internal quality assurer qualification, examples include: Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
• Knowledge & Experience:
• Essential: Evidence of continued professional development and maintenance of specialist knowledge within learning, education, leadership development, coaching or organisational development.
• Experience delivering leadership and management training or education courses and programmes.
• Experience of developing educational content, resources and learning interventions to achieve defined learning outcomes.
• Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to managers, leaders and staff on learning, development and educational matters.
