NF/Classified MS Basketball Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

• Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employees must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position.
• Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
• Keep a concussion Certificate on file every year.
• Keep a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
• When applicable, keep a certificate from the "Fundamentals of Coaching" course on file.
• When applicable, keep a certificate from the "First Aid, Health & Safety" course on file.
• New requirement: Keep a certificate from the "NFHS Heat Illness Prevention" course on file every year.
• All Coaches must complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
