Responsibilities

• Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position.
• Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
• Completion of "Fundamentals of Coaching" - Copy on file when applicable.
• Completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety" - Copy on file when applicable.
• New requirement: Completion of "NFHS Heat Illness Prevention" course - Copy on file every year.
• Completion of NFHS COVID-19 Course - Required for all coaches.
