Responsibilities
- Complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses.
- Coaches with valid ASEP Coaches Education Course certificates before May 15, 2013, are exempt from NFHS courses.
- Ensure possession of TSSAA/TMSAA health and safety certificates.
- Keep updated copies of all relevant certificates including concussion and sudden cardiac arrest certifications.
- Complete the NFHS Heat Illness Prevention course annually.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
