Newsroom Intern
KUTV, Utah’s #1 news station, is seeking Newsroom Interns to be assigned to various time slots. This unpaid internship offers observational learning and hands-on experience, providing an understanding of how news is produced from start to finish. Interns will play an active role in the newsgathering process.
Requirements
- Must be attending an accredited college or university
- Must be registered in an internship course at your institution during the quarter or semester of the internship
- Graduate students are eligible
- Each intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week (based on your university's requirements)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Students entering their junior or senior year or a graduate program preferred
- Two samples of work (e.g., writing projects, audio or videotape) preferred but not required
- A copy of internship guidelines from your school institution preferred
This is an unpaid internship coordinated with your college or university for academic credit under faculty sponsorship.
