Newsletter Coordinator

About the role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative volunteer to help us craft and distribute a quarterly newsletter email. This newsletter is a vital communication tool for keeping our supporters engaged and connected to our mission. Organization: The Greyhound Health Initiative (GHI) Role Type: Volunteer (Remote) Commitment: 1–3 hours per quarter

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the Executive Director to develop newsletter content.
• Draft, format, and publish quarterly updates highlighting research projects, fundraisers, events, and other organizational news.
• Use Mailchimp to design and send newsletters (training available if needed).
• Ensure the newsletter is clear, engaging, and aligned with GHI’s mission and voice.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to coordinate across time zones (flexibility with communication delays).
• Commitment of approximately 1–3 hours per quarter.
• Passion for sighthound health and nonprofit work is a plus!
