About the role

KMPH FOX26 is seeking an entry-level editor/writer for a 10-hour a week position during Friday Night Rivals High School Football coverage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sponsorship scripts and graphics from the production truck
• Work an 8-hour shift on Fridays during High School Football season
• Work a 2-hour shift the next day to edit and feed highlights back to our Sinclair corporate team
• Other parts of the year, the schedule is 6:45-11:15pm on Saturday and Sunday nights

Requirements

• Completed or be in their junior or senior year of college at a four-year accredited college or university
• Planning and preparing for a job in news

Pay

The base hourly compensation for this role is $17.50 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
