You’ll break news, build sources, pitch and execute original enterprise ideas, deliver dynamic live shots, and create impression-grabbing social media posts. We’re looking for a confident, take-charge journalist who hits the ground running—someone who thrives in the field, asks tough questions, and uses every tool available to create compelling, shareable stories. Responsibilities Plan, gather, and produce stories for day-of news coverage and special project assignmentsCollaborate with news managers and producers to develop stories that go beyond the surface, spotlight distinctive enterprise angles, and deliver exclusive contentConsistently contribute updated information, video, photos, and other elements to multiple platforms throughout the dayEmbrace new technology and adapt to evolving demands to stay relevant in a rapidly shifting multi-media environmentBuild and maintain a strong network of sources who provide tips and early access to information, enabling you to break impactful storiesManage multiple stories and projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines under pressureDemonstrate unwavering journalistic integrity and the highest ethical standards Requirements Professional reporting experienceCommitment to enterprise and data-driven reportingDemo reel that is indicative of everyday workAbility to write clear, correct, compelling copy tied directly to videoCan work in all weather conditionsHave a valid driver's license and a clear driving recordWork varied shifts, including overnights and weekendsIn person attendance requiredCan deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast and digital productionRelated military experience will be considered Salary The estimated salary for this role is between $114,000 and $135,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law.
