Summary
Entravision is seeking a passionate, curious, and digitally driven Reporter to join our national Spanish-language streaming news team. This is an opportunity for a journalist who thrives on breaking news, compelling storytelling, and creating content that connects with Hispanic audiences across the United States and Latin America.
Essential Functions
- Report on breaking news, enterprise stories, and major national events across the U.S. and Latin America.
- Produce accurate, engaging, and compelling stories for streaming, digital, and social media platforms.
- Deliver live reports and interviews from the field.
- Write clear, concise, and broadcast-quality scripts in native-level Spanish.
- Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, and digital teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom.
- Create platform-specific content for social media before, during, and after live coverage.
- Build and maintain a strong network of sources and community contacts.
Required Education And Experience
- Minimum 3 years of reporting experience at a Hispanic television network or national Spanish-language news organization.
- Native-level fluency in spoken and written Spanish; English proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Hispanic, Latin American, and international news.
- Excellent live reporting, storytelling, interviewing, and writing skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience using mobile journalism tools, digital newsrooms, and social media platforms.
- Passion for creating content that resonates with today's digital-first audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, breaking news environment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during major news events.
- Willingness to travel frequently for breaking news and special assignments.
