News Photographer

About the role

We are seeking a creative full-time News Photographer who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. The candidate will cover day-to-day general assignments, in-depth features, and investigative stories.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages
• Produce high-quality stories under tight deadlines
• Operate news vehicles safely and professionally
• Lift and carry equipment weighing between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis

Requirements

• At least 2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
• Proficiency in non-linear editing systems
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate news vehicles
• Strong people skills, work ethic, and a positive attitude
• Passion for storytelling
