About the role
WTVC/FOX Chattanooga is seeking a dynamic full-time Morning Anchor. This role requires a combination of exceptional journalism skills, a great personality, and leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning of newscasts and produce content regularly.
- Embrace social media and engage with the audience.
- Collaborate effectively across all platforms and own a content franchise, topic, or beat.
- Show strong "in-the-field and live" anchor/reporter skills.
- Possess exceptional written communications skills and a proven ethical foundation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of on-air experience.
- Self-sufficient as a content creator and collaborator on all platforms.
- Able to own a content franchise, topic, or beat.
- Strong "in-the-field and live" anchor/reporter skills.
- Exceptional written communications skills using a conversational writing style.
- Proven editorial judgment and ethical foundation.
