Responsibilities
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) controls
- Perform regular system patching
- Support overall system health
- Provide regular system patching and troubleshooting support for simulators located within the Classified Information Systems (CIS) environments in Groton, CT
Requirements
- Implement or maintain Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Implement or maintain DOD STIGs
- Experience with hypervisors such as Hyper-V
- Experience with Agile software development using Jira
- Experience with version control software such as Git
- Current or previous Secret (or higher) clearance
- Experience with multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Linux (RHEL) and Windows
- Experience with maintaining & administering Windows servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
- 1-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Good communication, written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
