New York Office - Complex Commercial Litigation Mid-Level Associate

About the role

The Winston & Strawn's New York office seeks a mid-level associate with at least four years of broad-based, general litigation experience in a top-tier law firm or similar experience as a Federal Court judicial clerk.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate matters in New York State and Federal courts through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, expert development, and trial.
• Manage all aspects of discovery in large, high-stakes cases.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue motions.

Requirements

• Strong writing, research, and case management skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong organization, analytical, writing, and verbal skills.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar.

Qualifications

• Broad-based, general litigation experience in a top-tier law firm or similar experience as a Federal Court judicial clerk.
