About the role
The Winston Taylor's Chicago office is seeking a dedicated and experienced mid-level associate to join the complex commercial litigation group.
Responsibilities
- Broad based, general litigation experience in a top-tier law firm or similar experience as a Federal Court judicial clerk.
- Strong writing, research, and case management skills.
- Experience coordinating matters in Illinois State and Federal courts through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, expert development, and trial.
- Experience managing all aspects of discovery in large, high-stakes cases.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Drafting and arguing motions.
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong organization, analytical, writing, and verbal skills.
- Admitted to the Illinois State Bar.
Qualifications
- At least three years of broad based, general litigation experience in a top-tier law firm or similar experience as a Federal Court judicial clerk.
