New York – Energy & Infrastructure 2026 - 2027 Foreign Law Clerk Program
About the role
The Foreign Law Clerk Program offers a unique opportunity for a candidate enrolled in an L.L.M. program to gain valuable U.S. legal experience in the Energy and Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of the Energy and Infrastructure team on a broad range of domestic and international transactions, including public-private partnership and project finance matters.
- Gain hands-on experience in corporate and/or finance law.
- Fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese is required.
Requirements
The eligible participant must have:
- An L.L.M. from an accredited United States or United Kingdom law school.
- A law degree from a jurisdiction other than the United States.
- At least three years of corporate and/or finance law firm experience in their home jurisdiction.
Qualifications
The candidate must be eligible for an OPT or H-1B1 visa and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Skills
Strong legal research and writing skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
