About the role

The Little Saint Nick Foundation (LSNF) engages volunteers in community service activities, primarily focused on packing St. Nick Gift Bags for children in hospitals and those in need. Volunteers participate in events, fundraisers, and packing sessions across New York and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in St. Nick Gift Bag packing events to support children in hospitals and communities.
• Assist in organizing and executing fundraising events, such as pickleball tournaments, music festivals, and corporate volunteer days.
• Engage with community groups, schools, scouts, and corporate partners to promote volunteerism and service.
• Support local supply drives and donation collections to gather materials for gift bags.
• Collaborate with LSNF teams in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Vancouver to expand outreach efforts.
• Help distribute St. Nick Gift Bags at hospitals, events, and community centers.
• Participate in awareness campaigns, particularly during Mental Health Awareness Month and holiday seasons.

Qualifications

• Willingness to engage in hands-on volunteer work and community service.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including youth, corporate teams, and nonprofit partners.
• Interest in supporting children’s well-being and hospital outreach initiatives.
• Flexibility to participate in events held on weekends or weekdays, depending on the activity.
• No prior experience required; training and guidance provided at events.
