About the role

WILLIMANTIC COMPANIONs AND ILSTs (Life Skills Training) offer services in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This is an active, progressive, and results-driven position at A.B.I. RESOURCES.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with safety, organization skills, medical and therapeutic rehab homework, medication reminders, and social entertainment.
• Help clients find meaningful employment, manage money, develop social skills, and more.
• Provide regular drug screenings and adhere to highest standards of care and accountability.
• Support clients recovering from strokes, concussions, and brain injury within community settings.

Requirements

• One to two years of health care experience.
• Valid Driver's License and Car.
• Super time management and organizational consistency.
• Great smartphone and tablet skills.
• Background check and drug testing before hire.
• Dress code adheres to highest standards of care and accountability.

Qualifications

Experience helping people recovering from strokes, concussions, and brain injury within community settings.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Knowledge of community resources and services.
• Proficiency in using smart phones and tablets.
