New Store Opening - Sales, Customer Service or Stock - Willow Ridge Rack

About the role

As Sales Support, a Cashier, or Stock Support, you'll make the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for. You'll join at the ground floor of our new store, with plenty of opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

Sales Support and Cashier

• Help put the finishing touches on the store ahead of launch, then set the scene for a great customer experience.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, escorting them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Share your love of fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, the Nordstrom Rewards program, and the mailing list.
• Keep stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Work with the team to maintain a "runway-ready" sales floor through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.

Stock Support

• Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, handling markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

Requirements

• A calm demeanor in a busy retail environment.
• Proficiency in using a variety of technology and new computer applications.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (for Stock Support role).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $17.05 - $17.75 hourly, dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
