New Product Specialist

About the Role
The New Product Specialist drives sales and provides outstanding service by effectively matching members with AAA's comprehensive product offerings. Pay is $25.80/hour plus commission. Branch hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm, with availability on Saturdays required.
Responsibilities
- Act in a sales capacity, promoting cross-sales referrals, sales, and branch promotions.
- Engage with customers to identify the most suitable product offerings.
- Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for all new product and bundle offerings.
- Communicate AAA’s new products and value propositions with team members.
- Achieve monthly assigned sales goals.
- Follow up on leads and unsold quotes by phone and email.
- Make outbound calls for lead generation.
- Work with branch team members to generate referrals.
- Promote products and services to achieve individual and organizational goals.
- Overcome obstacles that create barriers to team or branch efforts.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
- Act as an agent for change while promoting AAA’s guiding principles and core values.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of work experience, with a preference for inside or outside sales.
- Bonding and fingerprinting may be required.
- Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
Preferred: Experience working with sales and service standards and goals.
Working Environment
- Works in a variety of office environments, with extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting at a desk, table, or computer workstation.
- May travel by car, plane, or other transportation to attend business meetings or conferences.
- May be required to work in one or more locations within a defined service area.
- Approximately 50-80% of the time involves the use of a personal computer.
Pay
Starting pay is $25.80/hour plus commission. The pay rate for Salinas is $25.80/hour, with regional starting rates ranging from $25.80 to $30.75 hourly. This role is subject to an incentive plan that includes commissions, with most employees earning between $0 - $15,000 annually, contingent on performance.
Schedule
Branch hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Availability on Saturdays is required.
