About the role

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the Product Development process from idea through concept into launch. They oversee the development of products for both Norix and Tonik brands, ensuring alignment with market needs, customer profiles, and competitive dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously across both Norix and Tonik brands.
  • Identify and develop product opportunities in emerging and growth markets.
  • Create and execute detailed product briefs for all new products and line extensions.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback.
  • Lead the Cross-Functional Team through the development process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to translate new products into compelling sales support materials.
  • Manage product categories across the full lifecycle.
  • Review margin reports and product profitability.
  • Manage the Special Make-Up (SMU) process.
  • Develop and deliver product training for sales and customer care teams.
  • Prepare and present product updates and launch presentations.
  • Build and maintain a network of outside resources.
  • Manage outside design consultants.
  • Own the product launch checklist.
  • Communicate product updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Explore opportunities with outside vendors.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end product development processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Design.
  • 5+ years working experience in leading product management efforts in a manufacturing environment.
  • Contract furniture industry experience preferred.

Skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
