New Patient Specialist

Responsibilities

• scheduling new patient appointments for multiple locations and specialties
• speaking with and ensuring each patient receives an exemplary customer service experience
• answering and managing a high volume of phone calls, faxes and other electronic communications
• obtaining and entering accurate patient demographics, insurance information and all required documents into the EMR system
• communication with referral sources, other team members, insurance companies, etc.
• and various other duties related to this role

Requirements

• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• bilingual in English and Spanish
• reliable, flexible, courteous, helpful and friendly
• self-motivated, with a "sense of urgency" in the carryout of all tasks
• able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• able to multi-task, have attention to detail and be highly organized
• team player and passionate about providing an outstanding experience for patients and customers
