New opportunity: Marketing Executive
Salary: £25,000–£30,000, subject to skills and experience. 5% pension contribution in addition to salary. 25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays, with salary review points and potential for performance bonuses.
Location: Home-based with virtual office support – regular travel to the North East. Job type: Full-time, permanent following a six-month probationary period.

This role sits within a small marketing team that delivers effective marketing communications and campaigns across the group. You’ll be joining SDN Mesma Group at an exciting time, as we launch a new long-term strategic plan and refreshed brand in the second half of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Use digital and traditional marketing channels effectively, including the website, email, social media and print.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance data, using insights from digital and offline activity to inform decision making.
- Develop communications that enhance the customer experience and contribute to our revenue targets and KPIs.
- Help ensure brand consistency across communications and collateral.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
- Assist with internal communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media, email marketing and CMS tools.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
- Confident using analytics tools to evaluate marketing performance and make data-led decisions.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Skills
- Experience in marketing within a SaaS or professional services organisation (desirable).
- Experience working with HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub and WordPress (desirable).
- Understanding of the education, skills or quality assurance sectors (desirable).
- Creating marketing assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (desirable).
