About the role
The rapidly growing New Jersey office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of defense-side complex litigation experience. Ideal candidates will bring meaningful experience managing sophisticated matters independently, as well as a desire to grow a book of business.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and responding to pleadings
- Managing written and electronic discovery, including e-discovery strategy
- Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Leading or substantially participating in mediations and trials
- Mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating with litigation teams
Requirements
- Significant experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including:
- Handling all aspects of litigation, from pleadings to trial
- Experience with e-discovery strategy and management
- Ability to handle multiple complex matters simultaneously
Qualifications
- Advanced writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- The ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment

Pay
The yearly salary range for this position is $195,000 - $215,000+. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
