New Jersey/New York– Senior Project Manager / Client Service Leader – Water & Wastewater
About the role
This is not a traditional project management role. WSP is seeking a proven seller-doer to help expand our water and wastewater business throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan region. This role offers the opportunity to shape market strategy, grow key client relationships, and influence the future direction of a rapidly expanding practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with NJ and NY municipalities, municipal utilities, sewerage authorities, and MUAs
- Lead strategic pursuits, positioning, proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients on major capital programs
- Manage major infrastructure programs and multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction
- Mentor project managers and technical staff
- Support regional growth initiatives and market planning
Requirements
- PE license in NJ or NY required, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- 12+ years of municipal water/wastewater consulting experience
- Established relationships with NJ and/or NY municipal utilities, authorities, and agencies
- Demonstrated business development success in the NJ/NY market
- Familiarity with NJDEP and/or NYSDEC permitting and regulatory requirements
- Strong executive presence and client-facing leadership skills

Skills

Compensation range: $145,400 - $259,100
