Responsibilities
- Configure and run laboratory equipment to accurately measure Electro-Optic performance of cameras and/or sensors.
- Document test procedures.
- Write simple Labview control programs.
- Compile test data for review.
- Learn about CCD and CMOS imaging sensors and EO Test Equipment.
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Institute of Technology student available for the fall co-op cycle.
- Working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Desirable course studies include semiconductor devices/fabrication, optics, or computer programming.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Familiar with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators.
- Strong PC skills.
- Knowledge of imager characterization tests.
- Knowledge of Electro Optic Principles and concepts with applications to imager and camera testing.
- Knowledge of Labview, MATLAB.
Pay
The salary range is: $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
