Electrical Engineering Co-Op

About the role

We are seeking talented Electrical Engineering students to join our cooperative education program. Jordan & Skala Engineers offers a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the consulting engineering field alongside professionals.

Responsibilities

• Become acclimated to the consulting engineering workplace, legal codes, design concepts, and improve skills in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Work alongside professionals in your degree field and interdisciplinary teams.
• Network with other co-op students and industry leaders, attend lunch and learns, and participate in company events.
• Continue to become familiar with codes and calculations, work more independently on projects in AutoCAD and Revit, and accompany an engineer to project site visits.
• Implement knowledge from previous semesters to review shop drawing submittals, design layouts, and complete calculations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an Electrical Engineering student.
• A strong passion for building design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The co-op program runs for three alternating semesters, offering at least a year's worth of valuable professional work experience.
