Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals
- Absorb and assist residents with therapeutic exercises and daily living skills
- Teach the use of adaptive equipment to promote independence
- Conduct therapeutic activities and foster motivation
- Document patient progress accurately and on time
Requirements
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
