Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals
  • Absorb and assist residents with therapeutic exercises and daily living skills
  • Teach the use of adaptive equipment to promote independence
  • Conduct therapeutic activities and foster motivation
  • Document patient progress accurately and on time

Requirements

  • Current Oregon Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with facility staff

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for rehabilitation and helping others
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
