NEW HOME DESIGN COORDINATOR
Job Summary
As a Designer in our Corporate Office, you will work one-on-one with our home buyers in selecting their new home finishes. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by guiding the customer through their design center appointment and informing them on the materials that will be in their home. The most rewarding aspect of this role is playing an integral role in the vision customers have for their home.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in design or related field
- Outgoing personality and comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
- Upbeat and optimistic, flexible to customers’ needs
- Patience and customer-centered approach
- Research products and changing design trends to stay updated and knowledgeable about product offerings
- Can refocus individuals to ensure timeliness and accuracy of appointments
Skills
- Aid customers at selection and sign-off through the sale-to-start process
- Review customer agreements for buildability before the Selections Appointment
- Deliver error-free selection sheets
- Follow up with customers, Sales Counselors, and Divisions as needed to ensure accuracy and timely completion
- Work with Division Managers and Sales Managers to design speculative inventory homes
- Maintain a presentable Design Center showroom
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Use sensory skills to communicate and interact with other Associates and customers
- Perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills to operate office supplies
- Lift and carry approximately 20-25 lbs unassisted
- Sit for long periods of time with occasional reaching and standing
