Job Summary

The New Hire Concierge is responsible for implementing and executing the onboarding and orientation portion of the new hire life cycle, providing a welcoming and positive employee experience for new hires, and supporting new associates in acclimating to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as an ambassador to new employees. Serve as point of contact for incoming employees (e.g., providing information, direction, coaching for documentation/onboarding).
  • Delivers new hire onboarding programs to support new hire knowledge including access to information and resources, including orientation and training.
  • Implements and conducts employee engagement conversations including new employee daily rounding, stay conversations, surveys and focus groups.
  • Mets with new hires, trainers, and new hire managers weekly to evaluate new hire program compliance (orientation, onboarding, training), new hire performance, and proactively address program or performance gaps.
  • Offboards employees through exit interviews, capturing employee experience data and analyzing the results to find gaps to strengthen employee retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources, Business Management, or Learning and Development and 2-4 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • T-Chest (Certified Health Care Enviornmental Services Technician Train the Trainer) certification will be required within six months of employment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Ability to stay organized in a demanding and changing work environment.
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Ability to use working knowledge of environment to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and presentation.
