New Graduate RN Nurse Sponsorship via OPT and CPT

About the role

HCA Healthcare is offering a paid, year-long residency program at Lee's Summit Medical Center for recent nursing graduates, specifically those who graduated between May 2026 and September 2026. International students meeting certain criteria can receive sponsorship for an EB3 visa.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitor, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications.
• Maintain patient safety by monitoring for therapeutic responses and notifying providers and intervening as necessary.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about their medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Anticipate and resolve patient needs proactively.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment.
• A basic associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• A current Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse license in the state.
• No prior experience is required.
• Travel for training may be necessary.
