Role Overview

The Novice Nurse - Registered Nurse provides hands-on, patient-centered care in a home setting, focusing on direct care, care management, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness
• Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate with supervisors and physicians
• Document care activities and coordinate with healthcare team
• Ensure safety and proper functioning of environment and equipment

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Active RN license
• Current CPR certification
• PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
