About the Role

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking novice Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for home‑care positions in the Pittsfield, MA area. The Novice Nurse Program offers full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem opportunities for new graduate nurses. No prior home‑care experience is required; comprehensive paid training will develop clinical skills and confidence for one‑on‑one patient care in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Perform focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Provide compassionate one‑on‑one patient care in the home setting.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Current health certificate (per facility requirements).
• Current PPD or chest X‑ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• New graduate nurses are welcome to apply.

Pay

Competitive rates DOE with weekly pay. Starting rates: RN $48 hourly, LPN $38 hourly.

Schedule

Full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem positions are available, offering flexible scheduling.
