About the role

We're hiring for our August 31 Emergency Department RN Residency Cohort! This program is designed for new graduate nurses, especially those with prior Emergency Department experience (e.g., EMTs, ED Technicians, Paramedics) or a senior practicum/capstone in the Emergency Department. The residency combines expert mentorship, hands-on learning, and a collaborative team to build confidence and critical thinking skills for emergency nursing.

An active RN license is required prior to the start date. As part of the residency, you'll join a supportive community of clinical educators, experienced nurses, and fellow new graduate RNs to help transition from student to professional nurse.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care.
• Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Supervise staff to whom nursing care is appropriately delegated.

Requirements

• Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school, or currently enrolled in nursing school with graduation within the next 6 months.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation, or policy (CPR certification required).
• Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen.
• Must comply with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination or submit to regular testing if exempted.

Pay

$33.50 - $73.31 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
