Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated RN to join our world-class nursing team, providing exceptional care for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other neurological conditions. This is an opportunity for a clinically driven and patient-focused nurse who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment and is committed to delivering innovative, evidence-informed care.

What We Are Looking For

  • Licensure & Certification: Current Colorado RN license required. BLS certification from AHA (American Heart Association); required ACLS and relevant specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN); preferred.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; required BSN required within 18 months of hire (CCNE or NLNAC-accredited program preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred. Experience in neuroscience, acute med-surg, or rehabilitation strongly desired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Craig’s standards and the ANA Code of Ethics.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, goals, and long-term self-management techniques.
  • Carefully coordinate care with team members across disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity.
  • Safely administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects.
  • Accurately and in a timely manner document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Apply principles of infection prevention and patient safety to every interaction.
  • Supervise and delegate to unlicensed staff and students as appropriate.
  • Actively participate in Shared Governance, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented unit culture.
