Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
• Demonstrate competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Uphold ANA standards of professional performance, including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
• Strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (Required within 5 years)
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required within 90 days)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required within 6 months)
