About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to lead patient care within our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Effectively uses the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Achieves learning needs and implements teaching strategies
- Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources
- Evaluates and promotes changes to achieve optimal outcomes
- Adapts behavior to meet the specific needs of the patient population
- Performs other related duties as required
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- 2 years of relevant and recent nursing experience in assigned unit(s)
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Certification in clinical specialty area preferred
