About the role

As part of Dun & Bradstreet’s New Business Sales function, you will sell the Company’s products and services to new and/or existing clients, developing or expanding accounts primarily through telephone sales. Your focus will be on growing the revenue stream by identifying new logo opportunities, win-back opportunities, and closing cross-sell (and select up-sell) opportunities within the existing customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor on Dun & Bradstreet solutions by developing strong, positive relationships with clients.
  • Prospect, qualify, and process leads from various lead generation sources.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet annual quota objectives.
  • Identify and close new logo opportunities, win-back opportunities, and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective customers through a consultative process to drive conversions.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate data in Salesforce (SFDC) to support territory, account planning, and forecasting.
  • Complete required Dun & Bradstreet certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of high-value, business-to-business, solution sales experience.
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition.
  • Highly driven, focused, and committed with a track record of consistent sales achievement.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to change.
  • Experience managing and reporting on opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
  • Salesforce expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-velocity, metrics-driven sales organization.
  • Strong phone presence with active listening, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, speak, and operate a telephone and/or computer for long periods.

  • Flexibility to work day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed.
  • Regular attendance in the office.
