About the role
New Business Development Managers at Ferraro Foods are responsible for growing accounts, building strategic relationships, and driving new business across the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and win new business, including targeting competitors' key accounts.
- Build and develop relationships with high-value and strategic customers.
- Drive profitable growth through new customer acquisition and product expansion.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and leadership to execute growth initiatives.
- Present new products, programs, and value-added solutions to customers.
- Support and coach sales teams on relationship management and business development strategies.
- Stay closely connected to customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
- Represent Ferraro Foods at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or strategic account management.
- Demonstrated success generating new business and growing customer relationships.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to build trust and influence decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

$95,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus incentive opportunities.
Schedule
Field-based with travel, Monday-Friday | Some evenings, weekends, and customer events as needed.
