About the role

New Business Development Managers at Ferraro Foods are responsible for growing accounts, building strategic relationships, and driving new business across the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and win new business, including targeting competitors' key accounts.
  • Build and develop relationships with high-value and strategic customers.
  • Drive profitable growth through new customer acquisition and product expansion.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and leadership to execute growth initiatives.
  • Present new products, programs, and value-added solutions to customers.
  • Support and coach sales teams on relationship management and business development strategies.
  • Stay closely connected to customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
  • Represent Ferraro Foods at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or strategic account management.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and growing customer relationships.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to build trust and influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales or related field preferred.

Schedule

Field-based with travel, Monday-Friday | Some evenings, weekends, and customer events as needed.
