About the role
Join ABI Resources and become a crucial part of helping those recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and TBI live and recover at home. With a supportive and inclusive team culture, you will feel valued and appreciated while providing essential care to clients.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of home and community life for clients.
- Ensure consistent safety for clients.
- Provide a healthy and professional friendship to clients.
- Help clients maintain personal hygiene and dressing routines.
- Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Support clients with shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities.
- Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment for clients.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent education.
- One year of experience working with disabilities preferred, but not required.
- Car, driver’s license, proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- A letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
