About the role

We help people recovering from brain injury, stroke, and TBI live and recover at home. You will help clients with every part of their lives. Services include supported living, instructional care, employment, job coaching, health aid, personal care, transitional living services, caregivers, ILST (Independent Living Skills Trainers), PCA (Personal Care Assistants), DSP (Day Support Program), Companions, RA (Recovery Assistants), Behavioral Health, and CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants).

Responsibilities

• Help clients with all aspects of home and community life.
• Ensure consistent safety for clients.
• Provide a healthy and professional friendship for clients.
• Support personal hygiene and dressing routines for clients.
• Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
• Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment activities.

Qualifications

• Drug screening required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of experience preferred.
• Experience working with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, along with proof of insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience may be required.
