About the role
Join ABI Resources and help those recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and TBI live and recover at home. Our supportive and inclusive team culture values and appreciates our team members.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of home and community life for clients.
- Ensure consistent safety for clients.
- Provide a healthy and professional friendship for clients.
- Support personal hygiene and dressing routines.
- Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Shop, cook, and clean with clients.
- Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience working with disabilities preferred, but not required.
- Car and driver’s license with proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Present a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.

ABI Resources provides Disability Support Services across Connecticut, including Money Follows the Person and ABI Waiver Program Agency, Provider services.
