About the role
Rapid Medical is a commercial-stage neurovascular medical device company. Our technology is used in stroke and aneurysm procedures, and our clinical team works alongside interventional physicians in the procedure room.
Responsibilities
- Establish a daily cadence of presence in customer accounts through lab visits, case coverage, stroke call, and training and education
- Provide in-servicing and clinical information to end users in and around procedure rooms and surgical suites
- Communicate with customers to understand account needs and patient populations, and identify opportunities to introduce Rapid Medical technology
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, and resolve issues that arise post-sale
- Resolve customer questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
- Introduce customers to new products, services, and enhancements
- Support market development efforts that increase the number of patients able to receive our treatment
- Maintain and grow professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications, and professional societies
Requirements
- Vascular experience and interventional radiology knowledge
- Associate degree in a related field OR relevant work experience
- Ability to position products against competitors
- Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid US driver's license and active auto liability insurance
- Ability to maintain vendor credentialing standards consistent with hospital account requirements
